FEATURES
Superbarrio is a tool for architects, urban planners and public entities to engage the citizens in the design of the public space, to collect data about the citizens’ needs, desires and proposals, to educate to sustainability and inclusiveness.
METHODOLOGY
The user can navigate the space in 3 dimensions and modify it adding elements, functions and services for the public space or empty buildings. Each module is related to the topics of ecology, energy, mobility, culture.
Each player can make a design proposal and visualize this design related to the 4 categories.
DATA VISUALIZATION
The citizens' proposals can be visualized on a map and filtered according to different parameters, such as gender, age or job, thus giving a strong tool to decision makers and local associations to operate in the public space.
Data visualization is currently accessible only to authorized users.
Send us an email to have access to it.
A FLEXIBLE TOOL
It is a flexible and customizable tool, open to the application in different contexts: it is as simple as changing the urban 3D model.
Rules, score logic and data collection will be the same.
Two case studies have been the Gavoglio area in Genoa and the Farm Cultural Park in Favara, Italy.
